The SLCAO is organizing a Dansala and a competition for Vesak Sarasili. We invite members to participate and create your own special Vesak kudu and Vesak sarasili to show your talent and make this event a success. The objective here is to make our young generation aware of one of the significant festivals we celebrate in Sri Lanka.

Pass Bank St, Pass Airport Pkway, turn right to McCarthy Rd and then turn left to Paul Anka. Community Centre and sports field is right there.

Pass the Holy Cross Church (Where the Dinner Dance will on @ 7:00 pm) turn right at signal lights to McCarthy then right again to Paul Anka. Community Centre and sports field is right there.

SLCA of Ottawa is holding their 28th Annual General Meeting on Sunday October 30, 2005 at 1480 Heron Road Community Centre from 2:30pm to 5:00 pm. All members and non members or invited to participate in this meeting to elect the next committee. Please be adviced that the community centre will be closed at 5:00 pm and the AGM should start on time. Thanks for your coorporation. |
